" Does Walking in Gods' Creation Inspire You?

Greece is well known for its sunshine, beaches and crystal clear waters, but did you know that Kos has its own mountain ranges and terrains ideal for walking? In fact the ideal way to explore and see the best of the island is on foot. Come and enjoy the beauty of Gods' creation as it reveals itself to you over each horizon. The landscapes, views and nature won't disappoint you, especially in Springtime when we are blessed with a vast array of wild flowers, dragonflies, butterflies and numerous tortoises!

We can give you itineraries for walks according to your requirements and if you come as a group we can also provide a guide who has detailed local knowledge.

Some of the islands' highlights only reached on foot are:

White Rock Mountain, with its cave where man lived 5000 years ago

Visit the Valley of the Tortoises, the legendary Cave of the Dragon and the Church of St George

The Hidden Forest with its Peacocks and Terrapins (also accessible by vehicle)

The Top of Kos via the Pilgrim Path, and visit the Church of the Transfiguration

Enjoy a fish lunch after a stroll to the Limionas Fishing Harbour

The best time for walking is May, September and October as the weather is cooler.
