The purpose
of The Tower House is to provide a place of retreat, calm and
tranquillity. We cater for any adult needing some time out from their
daily routine, especially full-time Christian workers i.e. ministers,
missionaries and church workers. The house is also available for the
exclusive use of groups for conferences, church house parties, and
family occasions etc. (Minimum age 16 years).
The Tower
House is a place of excellence and has been purpose built. It nestles
into the hillside outside the village of Kefalos on the southern side of Kos and overlooks
the mile-long sweep of Kamari Bay. It is located just 3 kilometres
from the village, home to around 3000 people.
The
Tower Room is located at the top of the Tower and is accessed by a
spiral staircase. It is set apart from the rest of the House and is a
place where you can read, pray, wait on the Lord and ‘just be still’.
The
Lounge with its panoramic view is always available for guests to
use and there is a small supply of games, puzzles and magazines. The
lounge leads into the Dining Room and then to the Sunset Terrace where you can sit
and enjoy the spectacular views.
The
Library area is situated under a small pergola and offers a
selection of Christian, reference and fiction books for your use while
at The Tower House.
